Buying wholesale generator sets is mainly about reducing risk in specs, testing, and delivery—not just finding a low price. Use this quick checklist before confirming any bulk order.
1) Confirm specs and product range
Ask the generator set supplier to confirm type (open/silent/mobile/containerized), power range (e.g.,16–3000 kVA), voltage/frequency, and controller/ATS options to avoid mismatched configurations.
2) Verify what “factory tested” means
Require a clear test routine (load test, insulation test, protection checks) and ask for the test record format that will be provided with each unit.
3) Check lead time and stock status
Separate “ready stock,” “semi-finished,” and “built-to-order” lead times so your project schedule and distribution plan stay predictable.

4) Confirm OEM/ODM and labeling
If you need OEM generator branding, confirm logo/nameplate, color, manuals, packaging marks, and language requirements before production.
5) Confirm export documents and after-sales
Ensure the supplier can provide datasheets/wiring diagrams plus warranty terms, spare parts list, and a defined support process for your customers.
